Uroboros 0,75l Trapan

Uroboros is a dry white macerated wine from vineyards of Western Istria, produced from variety Istrian Malvasia in Trapan vinery, from ecologically cultivated grapes. It is produced with spontaneous fermentation in acacia and oak barrels, aged on natural yeasts for 11 months in barrels and 45-60 days in bottles, nonfiltered. This wine has lovely golden yellow colour with greenish glare, its is complex, full bodied, juicy and drinkable. The bouquet opens with notes of toasted almonds with butter, followed by floral notes of chamomile and sage and aromas of yellow-green fruits and sage honey. Prevailing aromas on the palate are fruity notes of ripe pear and green apple, followed by elderflower and rosemary. Pairing suggestions: panfryed filet of white fish, tuna steak, chicken with julienne vegetables. Alcohol: 14%
