Plavac mali Remek djelo is a premium dry red wine from Brač vineyards, made of variety Plavac Mali, using only old vines from best locations. Controlled fermentation is taking place in stainless steel tanks and barrique barrels, with prolonged maceration from 20 to 40 days. After first part of aging process is made for 12 months in new French and Slavonian barrels, only best barrels are chosen for further 12 months aging process. This wine is a real masterpiece for true wine connoisseurs, as the name suggests (Remek djelo). It is defined by rich aroma and aromatic taste, it is smooth, rounded, with silky tannins and flavourful, with dominant notes of plum, chocolate, hint of vanilla, followed by herbs and tobacco undernotes. Best paired with red meat and mature cheese. Alcohol: 14,5%
