Stina Plavac mali majstor is a red wine produced in the vineyards around the village Murvica on the southern slopes of the island of Brač. This wine was made from hand-picked Plavac mali grapes. This wine is obtained by controlled fermentation in steel tanks and wooden vessels. Maceration for 20 to 40 days. Maturation 16 months in new barrique barrels. Plavac mali majstor is a thick, completely opaque and slightly dull color. You can feel cherries, Mediterranean herbs and spices, especially rosemary, laurel, and marmalade from ripe plums are the indispensable decor of every serious Plavac mali. In taste this wine is elegantly balanced by a rich extract with a long aging potential. In gastronomy, it is recommended to serve with roasts, more spicy red meat sauces, stronger more mature cheeses.
